Remedy Cleans Up!
On Tuesday 1st of March 2011, the Remedy Products team set out on a mission – to get their hands dirty and help make a small part of our environment a cleaner place; our clean up destination of choice – the beautiful Victoria Park located in Glebe, Sydney.
As part of the Clean Up Australia Day campaign, Remedy Products saw a great opportunity to take part in Clean Up Australia Day for Businesses, an event that allows Australian businesses to help clean up and conserve their environment, both in their own workplace and community.
Scouring all over the park, from pond to pool, the team collected all kinds of rubbish, but were pleasantly surprised to see that the community already appeared to be doing their part in conserving the area and putting the majority of their rubbish in the bins provided.

At Remedy Products, we are always trying to do our best to help look after our environment, which is why this event was an opportunity we couldn’t miss!
Just to think, Clean Up Australia Day started all because an “average Australian bloke”, Mr Ian Kiernan, had the simple idea to make a difference to his environment and clean up his own backyard – Sydney Harbour.
Twenty years on hundreds of thousands of Australians have “devoted more than 24 million hours towards the environment through Clean Up Australia Day and collected over 200,000 tonnes of rubbish”, an amazing achievement, and Remedy Products are now proud to say we have been apart of, and will continue to be apart of such a great cause.
So what can you do today to help look after environment?
Clean Up Australia Day takes place on Sunday the 6th of March, so why not get together a group of friends and organise your own clean up site? You can even join an existing clean up site if you prefer – Easy!
